Embroidery Digitisation Specialists

Working with major British manufacturers to optimise their embroidery production and develop processes since 1993.

Wherever your business is we understand your challenges

Embroidery Design Solutions Limited started out as a small high street retail and trade outlet for branded leisure clothing and work wear. The technical ability and finished quality of the embroidery was recognised by the leading software and equipment suppliers at the time. Catherine Johnson, EDS Managing Director’s creative flair and technical ability was recognised by Wilcom Software and she was approached to provide training services. This resulted in working with some of the Britain’s biggest brands.

Specialising in digitisation, training and consultancy

The training soon resulted in EDS expanding its services to encompass digitisation, training and consultancy for the software and embroidery equipment suppliers. In providing these more consultative services the retail high street presence became redundant and expansion in the training was the future. This training connection soon developed into consultancy services as leading British brands pushed the quality thresholds of their equipment. They wanted high quality embroidery, quilting and perforation design and digitisation – they needed the outsourced expertise to troubleshoot, consult and train.

Developing commercial solutions to meet client challenges

The challenge in managing the design possibilities within the boundaries of the software, hardware and commercial production costings became a specialism EDS excelled in. But as this service offer developed, by far the most limiting factor is the capabilities of the people using the equipment in a production capacity. After being approached by several British brands to provide a complete service – supplying the finished decorative panel – EDS has increased its proposition to fulfil these needs with the introduction of the Q&E brand.

Integrity, commercial edge and trust

EDS has develop trusted relationships with its customers, and recognise the sensitivity of the work it handles on their behalf. This is why our services are delivered under a non disclosure agreement, whether signed or not. Only with the express permission of our clients can we show the work we’ve done on their behalf. Our work with you, whatever it is remains confidential and if we are aware of any conflict of interest – you can be assured we will make it known at the earliest opportunity.
